JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Admissions Coordinator
Job Classification: 12-month employee
Reports to: Director of Admissions
Position Summary:
Performs administrative duties for the admissions department of Milwaukee Lutheran High School and Middle School.
Philosophy:
Milwaukee Lutheran High School and Middle School is seeking an Admissions Coordinator. The Admissions Coordinator should ascribe to the Core Values of not only Milwaukee Lutheran High School and Middle School, but those of the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee. Qualifications:
● A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and support for the mission of Milwaukee Lutheran High School.
● Office work experience preferred.
● Excellence in customer service and communications (written and verbal).
● Excellent computer skills required.
● Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
● Able to effectively manage time and priorities.
● A cooperative and collegial effort to carry out all work in support of the ministry.
Essential Job Functions:
Admissions:
- Guide and assist families applying to MLHS.
- Help maintain applications to MLHS using Finalsite.
- Help populate shared Excel file for Admissions, Choice, and Registrar
- Work with the Director of Admissions to administer placement exams for prospective students.
- Assist with all written communications and mailings (placement test results, acceptance, etc.).
- Solicit prospective student lists from Grade Schools.
- Ensure that upcoming school events are communicated with grade schools and churches.
- Assist with ElVis Day, Open Houses, Course Registrations, and other Admissions events.
- Monitor website for current information.
Choice Programs:
- Serve as the designee for MPCP and WPCP programs.
- Guide and assist families applying to a choice program.
- Receive and verify all choice applications.
- Prepare all Choice reports for submission to DPI.
- Prepare all Choice materials for audits.
Skyward:
- Serve as one of the master users for Skyward.
State Reporting:
- Develop a list of students eligible for Free & Reduced Lunch annually.
- Manage Skyward Integration with DPI including WISE-ID’s and WISE-Data.
Other Duties:
- Other duties as assigned by the Principal/Director of Admissions

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
