- Involvement in additive manufacturing consortiums or standards committees (e.g., ASTM, AMUG, RAPID).
- Familiarity with mechanical design standards and material specifications related to aerospace, automotive, or medical sectors.
Responsibilities/Objectives will include, but not limited to:
- Prepare and optimize builds for metal additive manufacturing systems, particularly LPBF and binder jet technologies.
- Evaluate and implement support structure strategies specific to LPBF processes for dimensional accuracy and material efficiency.
- Modify and adapt CAD models for additive manufacturability and downstream processing.
- Support post-processing activities including heat treatment, support removal, surface finishing, and precision machining.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition parts from design to full production using manufacturing methodologies as mentioned above.
- Operate and/or interface with multi-axis CNC equipment and support integration with AM processes.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to technology road mapping and innovation efforts.
- Stay current with advancements in AM and machining technologies, including involvement in industry consortiums and standards development.
- Work with the team in the creation of operational standards, documenting procedures, and maintaining reporting data to the internal ERP system.
- Communicate effectively across diverse teams, including engineering, operations, customers, and vendors.

About IperionX
Titanium metal is prized for its strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. These properties are ideal for applications in the aerospace, defense, medical, automotive and consumer electronics industries. Titanium’s problem is its high cost. The standard way to produce titanium metal, the Kroll process, was invented over 70 years ago, is complex, energy intensive, and expensive. IperionX has revolutionary technology to produce titanium metal at significantly lower energy, cost and carbon emissions. Our goal is to fundamentally transform the titanium industry. We are currently scaling production at our Virginia Titanium Manufacturing Campus, comprising the Titanium Production Facility and the Advanced Manufacturing Center. Additional information about IperionX can be found on our corporate website (www.iperionx.com).
IperionX is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity. We strive to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
