Full job description
V/O Med Spa is seeking a talented Wellness Specialist/Aesthetic Injector NP or PA to join our highly motivated team. Candidates should have a passion for preventative & integrative wellness. Should be patient-driven, eager to provide optimal results, and able to offer thorough patient histories, appropriate examination, interpret diagnostic lab work, and create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in an autonomous environment with the support of a collaborating Physician. Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical medical experience. Injector experience with comprehensive knowledge of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, laser treatments, and other procedures/services is a plus. Treatments may include (but are not limited to): using lab work to guide supplementation regimens, procedural tasks such as Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) via pellet insertion, Intravenous Hydration, ordering and delivery of peptides and Vitamins/Nutrients through intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, wrinkle treatments by injection, including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, body and facial injections, thread lifts, platelet-rich plasma therapy, micro needling, derma roller, mesotherapy, lip enhancement, buttocks enhancement, cryolipolysis, and other fat reduction treatments, chemical peels and microdermabrasion, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services, products, and programs while educating and communicating with clients
- Provide thorough patient histories and create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Perform medical therapy treatments for preventative and integrative wellness
- Perform injectable treatments using neurotoxins and dermal fillers
- Provide accurate charting and clinical documentation of all client care
- Stay up to date on new products and services in the industry
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous full-time clinical medical experience.
- Must hold and maintain current NC state license.
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift at least 30lbs
- Exposure to blood and bodily fluids, Utilizing proper PPE
- Use of manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision
- Must be a team player and support management, peers, and business goals.
License:
- NP or PA (required)
