Position Overview
State Farm Insurance Agent located in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a high energy, outgoing attitude, career-orientated professional to join our team. As a State Farm Team Member for Rich Hoppe-State Farm Agent, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm service and insurance products, including auto, home, life and supplemental health.
Responsibilities
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Work with agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Develop leads, schedule appointments identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day.
Involvement in Special Event and Social Media Planning.
As an Agent Team Member, you will receive:
Compensation: This is an entry level position, starting hourly wage of $18-$20.00 per hour, plus, bonus and commission opportunity of first year- average of $4000-$10,000, based on performance.
Health Benefit Stipend.
Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days.)
Paid Holidays.
Monday-Friday work week, hours 8:30am-5pm (occasional weekends and/or evenings may be required for special events/marketing).
