If the answer to those questions is “yes”, then RFD-TV has an outstanding opportunity for you in one of the country’s great cities, Nashville.
The Markets Specialist is responsible for the on-air presentation of a genuinely vast array of information and analysis pertaining to virtually every aspect of agribusiness. As a reference, it is the same position presently occupied by Scott Shellady.

Requirements:
- Significant demonstrated excellence as a broadcaster on radio or television, able to present market information and conduct in-depth interviews
- Stellar mental organization and the ability to deliver live reports and interviews from the studio and trade events in the field
- Extensive background in the agricultural portion of the commodities and stock markets, government policy impact, meteorological influences, foreign trade, et. al.
- Detailed knowledge of agribusiness and related segments in both the US and international markets
- Thorough understanding of the futures markets and the ability to work with the data to understand trends, winners & losers, supplier and customer impact, etc.
- Superior knowledge of the major industries / players in agriculture, in both the U.S. and around the world
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Background in television news is significant advantage
