Airporter Drivers

We are looking for exceptional motor coach drivers to join the team of professionals that runs our flagship Marin Airporter service between Marin County and San Francisco Airport.

The job is both demanding and rewarding. Drivers are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, and operating in a safe and efficient manner.

Drivers must be physically fit, as they are on and off the bus frequently, loading and unloading sometimes heavy baggage, and attending to customer needs.

They must also have the mental and emotional tools required to endure challenging traffic conditions, to account accurately for passenger numbers and fare money, and to remain at all times polite and professional in their dealings with customers, other drivers, and members of the general public.

It is not an easy job, but for the right person it is fun, highly satisfying, and very well paid.

We have many drivers who have been on the Airporter service for 10years or more. Our equipment is first rate, and we keep it clean and maintain it to high standards. We have a culture of safety, caution, orderliness, calm professionalism, and courtesy. We are employee-owned, and our management team values people as individuals, and recognizes dedication, steadfast attendance, and overall competence.

Qualifications for the Job:

We are looking for people with a Class A or B commercial license with passenger endorsement, air brakes, and no (or minimal) moving violations.

You also need to be able to demonstrate that you share our core values of safety, courtesy, and professionalism. You must have a track record of consistent punctuality and reliability in your work attendance, absolute trustworthiness, and the ability to function as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits:

We offer a competitive starting pay at $30.75 per hour. Tips from our customers are a regular occurrence. We also offer a Kaiser health plan, which is free for the employee, as well as a dental plan, paid vacation, and an ESOP retirement plan in which employees acquire an ownership interest in the company.
