Art Teacher

Children's Art Classes is thrilled to announce our studio opening in Cary! We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Art Teacher. The ideal candidate is a certified art teacher, with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience. The qualifications for this position include the following:

• Organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to implement a set curriculum
• Classroom management skills

Classes will be located in our Amberly Place studio in West Cary. The schedule will require afternoon through evening hours as well as Saturdays. These positions are part time, 20-25 hours per week, depending on enrollment. The position offers $25-$35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. A background check is required, and you will receive a W-2.

As the school is a new location, you will be assisting the owner in physically setting up the studios and recruiting our initial classes of students. The school will have small class sizes limited to 12 students per class.

We provide all necessary supplies and a comprehensive curriculum serving students from preschool age through high school and beyond. Continuous professional development is a part of our commitment, with ongoing monthly training opportunities. You will report directly to the owners of the Cary location. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
