Position Overview: This key position will perform a wide range of account, sales, and marketing support activities for the Company, headquartered in Warrendale, PA, to help build our brand and facilitate the on-going growth of the organization. This role is the 'training ground' for our account management team. In this position you will learn along-side Executives and Account Managers, assisting them with the day-to-day management of their clients’ accounts. We are looking for detailed-oriented and energetic people who are eager to learn the industry and grow within the Company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work directly under our Account Managers overseeing Retailer and Wholesaler accounts
  • Managing the day-to-day activities with assigned key accounts
  • Maintain retailer order reports
  • Update and distribute sales reports on monthly basis
  • Track retailer account promotions and results. Update and distribute promotion analysis reports on a quarterly basis
  • Make outbound calls to previously established outside accounts and other assigned leads
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation decks for new clients and/or new product offerings
  • Maintain client account records
  • Work directly with broker organizations (both US and International) on their assigned businesses and as otherwise needed
  • Independently handle some customer inquiries (quoting, sourcing, etc.)
  • Provide ongoing client support - review and respond to service inquiries both written and verbal; maintain a superior customer service experience with all clients
  • Receive and review orders
  • Help establish and set up item accounts with new retail/wholesale partners via paper or portal
  • Assist with the coordination and development of Point of Sale and other marketing graphics
  • Event and conference planning support; possible event attendance
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management to develop and execute approved marketing/brand/service development strategies related to new business initiatives including key initiatives to expand product offering in other markets
  • In-store POG review, marketing review, and product stocking as needed for local clients
  • Travel with PI Team to sales meetings, conferences, trade shows, and local events as needed
  • Prospect new sales opportunities; generate, track, and follow up
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure retailer deductions are properly coded and retailer monthly P&Ls are accurate
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Highly motivated with a desire to work in the industry
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships, both internally with colleagues and senior leadership teams, as well as externally with clients
  • Impeccable written and oral communications. Proven high levels of integrity
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated, service focused and detail oriented
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • High energy, creative
  • Ability to set priorities, plan and organize tasks
  • Find and use resources effectively

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Associate degree with 0-2 years’ applicable experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years’ business, sales, or account management experience

Work Environment:

Small headquarters office of an exciting, young, and growing business. Casual environment. Tobacco free workplace. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. Everyone is a critical member of the team. Travel possible.
