Our Construction Team
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for assisting our Project Management team in the overall administration and management of projects throughout the life of the project from precon to closeout. Prior experience in a site civil or MEP setting is a plus. In addition, candidates should be well organized and enjoy working with people.
Essential Functions
- Manage project document flow
- Review and process submittals
- Submit RFI’s
- Assist in ensuring quality and safety for each project
- Assist project management in setting and communicating goals of the project to the project team
- Assist in the performance of overall project management control systems, including estimates of cost, submittals and scheduling
- Manage the close-out process
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related-fields
- Full-time, Internship, or Co-op experience as an APM or project engineer.
- Site civil and/or MEP experience a plus
- Experience in BIM coordination preferred
- Knowledge of the Central PA market place
- Strong critical thinking and decision making ability
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in a complex environment with shifting priorities
- Basic mathematical, spatial and conceptual thinking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and people skills
- Goal oriented, highly motivated self-starter and enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Collaborate effectively with team and solicit help when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as project scheduling software programs
- Prior use of ProCore and/or Sage 300 beneficial
Physical Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions
- Frequent sitting, walking, standing, use of hands, driving, talking
- Occasional lifting of 10 to 50 lbs.
- Must have clear vision, color and depth perception and peripheral vision
- Must have clean driving record and able to drive distances when required
- May be subject to loud working environment
- Must pass background and drug screening process

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
