We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager(s) - Construction to join the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The items listed below are some of what the job entails:

High level understanding in the following areas:

Preconstruction Core Process:

  • Assist in conducting Internal Kickoff Meetings, track and distribute meeting minutes, and ensure accountability for action items identified.
  • Assist in conducting External Preconstruction Meetings, track and distribute meeting minutes, and ensure accountability for action items identified.
  • Aid in bid invitations as directed by the Project Manager, including generating scopes of work and necessary attachments.
  • Assist in the process of descoping subcontractors to eliminate scope gaps and ensure compliance with the prequalification process.
  • Collaborate in the Final Estimate/GMP Review to ensure completeness, with no missing gaps or issues.

Project Management Core Process:

  • Assist in conducting Handoff Meetings, track and distribute meeting minutes, and ensure accountability for action items identified.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create Preconstruction and Construction schedules within OPC and update them monthly.
  • Aid in the buyout process by generating all attachments and composing effective and comprehensive scopes of work.
  • Execute the Change Management Steps (CE to PCO to PCCO).
  • Execute key steps of the WIP process, including accurate project projections.
  • Assist in generating the pay application and ensure timely submission to the owner by the 1st of each month.

Project Closeout Core Process:

  • Assist in scheduling owner training sessions and ensure the completion of required documentation.
  • Collaborate in the subcontractor financial closeout process.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field with relevant experience
  • Or Associates Degree/Technical Certificate with relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 software
  • Procore experience is a plus
  • Viewpoint Spectrum experience is a plus
