Assistant Store Manager/Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager/Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment. This position is responsible for managing inventory, supporting shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining the organization of the backroom area. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday 8am-4pm. May be required to preform opening/closing duties as needed.

Duties

• Manage inventory levels by organizing stock and ensuring products are readily available for the sales floor.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading merchandise.
• Opening/Closing procedures if needed.
• Utilize retail math skills to track inventory and assist in stock management.
• Operate cash registers as needed, providing friendly customer service during transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the backroom area to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely restocking of shelves.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in retail and/or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
• Basic knowledge of retail math concepts to assist with inventory management.
• Previous experience operating cash registers is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
