Assistant Swim Team Coach needed for The YMCA Stingray Swim Team. Season runs September through March. Must be available to work all swim meets Saturday, Sunday, and evenings. This is a great job for College Students. Free individual YMCA membership included!

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Assists the Head Coach in operation of the swim team.
Assists the Swim Team Coach with organizing practice and meet schedules along with other related administrative functions.
Assists with maintaining necessary records for swim team participants.
Attends meetings and trainings as recommended by the head coach.
Incorporates the YMCA mission and values into the swim team program.

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience and knowledge to effectively assist the Head Coach.
Possess strong relationship building, communication and organizational skills to work effectively with youth, parents, volunteers and the general public.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Currently possess or has the ability to obtain certifications as determined by the Swim Team Coach and Aquatic Director.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
