Family Law Attorney

Barberi Law is an award winning law firm serving clients in Central, Western and Northern Michigan. We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. This individual needs to be a highly-motivated Attorney to primarily supervise and handle a heavy case-load from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial in the Family Law Division while potential assisting in other Barberi Law practice areas.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate can work independently, supervise paralegals and has experience handling claims from start to finish. We are also seeking an attorney who can empathize with our clients’ problems. We are hoping to hire an attorney who can relate to our clients on a personal level. This position is for someone who is looking to move up in their career, handle a large case-load and be exposed to significant value cases and work with some of the best attorneys in Michigan.

  • Experience/Skills
  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • Lawyer in Good Standing to practice law in Michigan
  • 1-5 Years practicing Divorce/Family law
  • Litigation and Trial experience is a plus but not required

Working Hours/Compensation

  • Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM.
  • The anticipated starting pay range for candidates is $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors which include, but are not limited to, the years of experience in family law practice, years of experience as a trial attorney, education, etc.
