Associate Attorney

Responsibilities:

• Legal Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other legal proceedings in the areas of criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, and probate and estates.
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies, and stay informed about changes in laws and regulations.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on their cases, address concerns, and offer legal advice.
• Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and other relevant legal instruments.
• Case Management: Manage and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and filed in a timely manner.
• Court Appearances: Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required, representing the interests of our clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and effective legal services for our clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio Bar and in good standing.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a small law firm setting.
• Proven experience in criminal law, family law, bankruptcy, or probate and estates.
• Demonstrated success in client advocacy and case management.
• Familiarity with local court procedures and practices in the relevant legal areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
