Job Description: We are looking for a driven and proactive DoD Business Development Representative to spearhead our sales initiatives by identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the Department of Defense. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to expand our reach in the defense sector.
What Success Looks Like in this Role: Success is measured by your ability to proactively identify new business opportunities, initiate relationships with potential clients, and generate leads that contribute to our sales pipeline. You excel by being an agile and persistent professional who can navigate the competitive landscape of defense technology with a strategic and opportunistic approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Department of Defense
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Understand client needs and collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions
- Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales within the Department of Defense or related sectors
- Strong understanding of the DoD procurement process and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Ability to multitask and manage several clients simultaneously
- Passion for technology and enhancing business processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Additional Information:
- Position is remote and can be performed from any city in the US; Florida or Virginia based is ideal but not required.
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
