Associate Attorney will represent clients in Copyright matters and other intellectual property proceedings. The associate will work with a paralegal and law clerk to manage a significant caseload of federal court cases including working to negotiate settlements prior to trial. Caseload will include a variety of cases including copyright, trademark, and right of publicity cases. Responsible for advocating for and protecting clients’ intellectual property rights, while maintaining the great reputation of the law firm as a whole.

  • Draft legal memoranda and briefs

  • Manage and advise clients on legal matters
  • Correspond with clients and prospective clients via email and telephone
  • Correspond with court, opposing counsel, and other state agencies regarding cases

Due to the current health crisis, most of our office is working from home. While we hope for all employees to eventually return to the office, the return date is unknown. As such, this will be a remote position with the possibility to transition to an in-office position as time progresses.
