Full job description
Have you ever wondered what practicing veterinary medicine would feel like without production pressure, corporate quotas, or rushed appointments?
At Pet Medical Care, we built our practice around a simple belief: when veterinarians have the right support, flexibility, and autonomy, pets receive better care and doctors enjoy their careers again.
We’re a veterinarian-owned, multi-location practice in Southwest Idaho offering full-service clinics, mobile veterinary care, boarding, grooming, and wellness memberships that help pets stay healthier long term. Our team works closely together, and our experienced support staff allows doctors to focus on what they trained to do, practice great medicine.
What Makes Us Different
- No production-based pay – practice medicine based on what’s best for the patient
- Strong support staff – experienced technicians and assistants supporting procedures and appointments to help your day run smoother usually with 2-3 support staff.
- Well-staffed teams – doctors aren’t left doing everything themselves
- Mentorship and collaboration – work alongside respected, experienced veterinarians
- Flexible scheduling – build a schedule that supports your life outside the clinic
- Multiple practice settings – in clinic care plus mobile veterinary services
- Veterinarian-owned culture – decisions made by doctors who understand the profession
Who This Might Be Perfect For
- An experienced veterinarian in the Boise area looking for a better environment
- A doctor who enjoys mentoring and collaborating with a strong team
- Someone who values relationship based medicine and long-term patient care
- A veterinarian curious about what a well run private practice can look like
Why Boise
Southwest Idaho offers one of the best lifestyles in the country, mountains, rivers, skiing, hiking, and a growing city where it feels like everyone has pets.
