Opportunity: The Senior role is responsible for organizing and managing client assignments and projects including the completion of assignment tasks and project components as well as coaching, advising, and directing team members in meeting client, and self-development expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage multiple client assignments simultaneously, ensuring the overall success of each project. Utilize effective project management techniques to establish work schedules and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, develop deeper knowledge and skills in technical field, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Technical Expertise: Deepen your knowledge and skills in the audit field, staying updated with the latest accounting standards and industry trends. Actively pursue self-development opportunities aligned with our competency model. In consultation with the assignment manager, organizes and controls multiple responsibilities and resources to achieve assignment objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, completing project components and assigned tasks to deliver exceptional results.
- Motivated Attitude: Maintain a motivated and empowered attitude, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting the firm’s success. Advises and coaches team members, provides consistent recognition and encouragement to team members, and sets an example by demonstrating high energy levels and enthusiasm.
- Audit Services: Draft client reports, research and apply US GAAP standards, builds and nurtures strong working relationships with client management and peer client levels, perform a detailed review of the team's work to ensure quality, thoroughness and completion of assignment tasks within agreed time frames, and identify opportunities to improve assignment profitability and identifies any risk management issues.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university along with current CPA license or CPA eligibility.
- Minimum 3 years audit experience in a public accounting firm.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects/tasks with effective attention to detail.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving ability.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Team and project management skills - the ability to coach, motivate and direct a team of people.
