Full job description
Position Summary: The Audiovisual InstallationTechnician cables and installs tech. This position performs daily installation tasks on job sites and works with other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions
- Take direction from managers and system engineers to coordinate and complete AV integration projects on time and to specification.
- Read schematic drawings, develop a project plan, and acquire all necessary materials from the warehouse.
- Perform AV integration activities such as pull cable (Cat 6), mount equipment securely, and assemble heavy duty rigging for screens, video walls, and speaker arrays. Perform testing on AV activities to ensure they work properly and safely.
- Perform network configuration and endpoint setup
- Perform control system programming.
- Interact with supervisors and clients in a professional manner.
- Document and communicate changes and details related to projects.
- Ensure quality, safety, and housekeeping standards are met.
- See it through – take ownership of each job from project kick-off to customer sign-off.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ audiovisual systems installation experience required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred, not required.
- BISCI Installer 2 (copper) certification preferred, not required.
- Experience reading plans & determining worksite tasks, preferred
- Valid driver’s license.
