Automotive/Diesel Mechanic

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive/Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, the successful candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of equipment ranging from UTV’s to heavy duty diesel trucks. Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic (preferred)
• 2 years of experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (preferred)
• Strong work ethic, motivated and dependable
• Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work
• Pass a pre-employment drug test

Job Summary

• Maintains our fleet of woodchippers, cars/vans, medium and heavy-duty trucks, mobile trimmers, UTVs and more
• Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all equipment
• Perform repairs at our on-site shop facility or in the field as needed
• Accurately record time, parts, and inspection checklists
• Move company equipment safely as needed
• Assists with work zone safety procedures
• Demonstrates high safety standards and proper maintenance procedures
• Perform all maintenance procedures assigned
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor

We employ two Certified Tree care Safety Professionals (CTSP) to coordinate all of our safety and compliance programs. There are currently fewer than 300 safety professionals nationwide to attain the CTSP designation. Hentges Tree Service is a drug free workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
