Full job description

Serves as a single point of contact for walk-in customers, fulfilling sales, service and referral needs. The Customer Service Representative is a hybrid between teller and new account representative and may look to successfully migrating to a position of Retail Banker who is also able to offer non-complex consumer and mortgage loans. Multi-faceted responsibilities range from cash handling and basic transactions to product and service sales, and referrals to other lines of business. Primary skills include key product knowledge, relationship building, customer service and sales.

Staff in the Customer Service areas of the bank must possess a nonstop professional attitude and outward appearance with an unshakeable energetic personality that is consistent even when dealing with customers where the interaction is unpleasant or upsetting.

The Customer Service Representative must be agile and adaptable to their banking facility.

Pay listed is a range for CSR I position. Wage will be determined by experience and skill sets. Applicants qualified for CSR II to Retail Banker (trained also in consumer and mortgage loans) may be negotiated based upon candidate's qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
