Green Pond is hiring a Banquet Chef!

As the employees responsible for food preparation for our events, as well as the cleanliness, care and organization of our kitchen, Banquet Chefs play a vital role in making a positive impression and maximizing guest satisfaction. Banquet chefs also assist in food preparation and daily operations for our restaurant.
This position is part-time but may turn into a full-time opportunity. There is a varying schedule which may include weekdays, weeknights & weekends dependent upon events scheduled. Weekend availability is required.
A typical day involves:
· Working as part of a team
· Preparing menu items according to our recipes and event orders
· Following instructions and meeting deadlines for event service
· Cleaning, restocking and organizing kitchen supplies and equipment
· Following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
· Assisting our Executive Chef with inventory, ordering and receiving deliveries
· Picking up food/supply orders at offsite locations
· Assisting our Executive Chef with restaurant operations and supervision of grill cooks/prep cooks

· Five (5) years of experience as a cook in a banquet/event center or catering setting
· Previous supervisory experience preferred
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
