Summary:

We are looking for flexible, friendly people who work well with a team of people with different experiences and points of view and thrive in an ever-changing environment.

As a Beer Server for Brew Gentlemen, you'll help create energy and enthusiasm while serving our guests at our beer gardens, events and pop-up locations. You will serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, oversee the stock and bar supplies, maintain a clean environment, and process payments while providing a fun and engaging customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive orders
• Quality draft pours delivered with care for both our product and the customer experience
• Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered (beer, wine, cocktail, coffee)
• Maintain the bar and keeps it clean and organized
• Ensure that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs
• Collect money from customers and operating the POS system
• Use proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive
• Change kegs and restock as needed
• Perform opening and closing checklists daily

• Take initiative to complete tasks and meet customer needs
• Respect for company policies around the consumption of alcohol
• Handle cash responsibly and with integrity and use the POS system effeciently
• Willing to give and receive feedback

Work environment: The majority of your work will take place outside at the Trax Farm Fall Festival, on behalf of Brew Gentlemen, at our popup beer tent.

Physical demands

• Must stand and walk for extended periods of time
• The ability to lift moderate to heavy objects
• Ability to work in inclement weather (rain, heat)
• Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately
• Must be legal drinking age or older
• Smile and laugh daily

Preferred education and experience

• Retail and Hospitality experience
• RAMP Certification preferred
• General knowledge of beer and any other beverage on draft
