Modoc Nation Behavioral Health (MNBH) is seeking (2) Behavioral Health Professional(s) (licensed or unlicensed) to join our Healing House and Hope Ranch programs. MNBH is solely owned and operated by the Modoc Nation, a federally recognized tribe.

Healing House The Healing House program provides outpatient behavioral health treatment to youth and adults (5 years and older), native and non-native in Miami, OK and surrounding areas. We offer a variety of individualized and community-based services to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, family conflict, grief and loss, and more. https://modocnationhealthservices.com/healing-house/

Hope Ranch program offers animal-assisted and nature-based interventions to youth and adults (5 years and up), native and non-native. Hope Ranch is located on a 60-acre farm in Fairland, Oklahoma. The property is home to approximately 8 horses, several goats, a cow, and other farm animals. The Hudson Creek runs through the middle of the property providing opportunities for fishing, nature walks, and other exploration. Mission: Our mission is to infuse hope, heal trauma, and foster growth in our community by providing education, resources, and behavioral health services. We utilize evidence-based practices and healthy connections with people, animals, and the environment to promote personal growth and wellness.

Behavioral Health Professional

1. Maintain a caseload of 25 to 30 clients aged 5 to young adult. Primary treatment focus of addressing symptoms related to trauma and complex trauma.

2. Conduct consultations with new therapy clients, providing initial evaluation & assessment to determine suitability for individual, family, and / or group psychotherapy. Make appropriate, culturally responsive diagnostic determinations according to the DSM-5.

3. Develop and update treatment plans for clients.

4. Provide individual, family, & group psychotherapy (minimum one group per week) to clients.

5. Enter and maintain accurate client data in the electronic medical record to track client progress.

6. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings & clinical team meetings, as well as training and consultation to further develop clinical skillset.

7. Abide by MNBH policies and all ethical and legal guidelines related to the provision of clinical services per Oklahoma law, HIPAA, and code of ethics governed by your professional organization(s).

8. Attend events in the community as needed.

9. Network with others in community partner organizations.

10. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychology or related field.

2. Current licensure in good standing as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC. MNBH will consider unlicensed and / or out of state candidates pursuing OK licensure. Supervision expense is covered by MNBH.

3. Clinical practice experience required; and experience facilitating experiential interventions and working with animals required for Hope Ranch BHP position.

4. Must have reliable transportation.

5. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & background check.

Supervision: This position will operate under the direct supervision of the Modoc Nation Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor.

Compensation: $68,000 - $88,000 annual salary plus fringe benefits. Salary is dependent on experience, certification, and licensure.

Schedule: This employee shall maintain regular business hours (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm. Option of 4 - 10 hr days or 5 - 8 hr days schedule.
