As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, providing direct support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including therapists and case managers, to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans as directed by the clinical team.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals.
  • Monitor and document client behavior and progress.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, as needed.
  • Facilitate group activities and psychoeducational sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Collaborate effectively with the treatment team.
  • Uphold safety protocols and de-escalate challenging situations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Behavioral Health field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with mental health challenges (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mental health conditions and interventions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexible, adaptive and quick on your feet.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.10 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
