Biker Boarder / Delivery Driver

The Mission

Biker Boards is a marketing agency that focuses on building brand awareness through mobile digital billboards on 2-wheeled vehicles used by gig app workers like Door Dash.

After paying for car notes/rental fees, insurance, maintenance and gas, gig workers can get discouraged and have little to nothing remaining to live on. We eliminate these costs by allowing gig workers to use our vehicles at no charge. They cover their own gas, however, this expense is significantly reduced to less than $5.00 a tank, and for gig workers that are part of the TRIO program at Georgia State University - Dunwoody Campus, share in 10% quarterly profits towards their education.

To make carrying food, prescriptions, groceries and small packages easier, we add an insulated delivery box to the back of each 2-wheeled vehicle to keep orders hot or cold. On each delivery box there are three (3) 19-inch LED displays that are used as mobile digital billboards. The 2-wheeled vehicle, combined with the mobile digital billboard delivery box, is called a BIKER BOARD.

Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver that uses gig apps like Door Dash to join our team and use our vehicles at no charge. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate a 2-wheeled vehicle in most weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 49cc moped/scooter
• Drive a minimum of 400 miles per week
• Report for maintenance every 1200 miles
• Maintain and keep track of all provided gear - helmet, heated gloves, heated under garments, ropes, rain suits, chargers, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Handle ultra-light lifting and maneuver packages in tight spaces.
• Follow established terms & conditions agreed to by gig app provider.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Document any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Active gig work app like Door Dash (Door Dash is preferred but other apps considered)
• Valid Georgia Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Eligible for insurance coverage
• Ability to operate a 49cc vehicle
• Experience with following a GPS
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with delivery driver procedures and regulations.
• Ability to manage small packages like food, precriptions, and groceries.
• Physical stamina to endure all weather elements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:

• Compensation is the income earned through the gig app of your choice. Biker Boarders that meet the mileage commitment split a 10% profit share.
