Job Role: Bingo Sales Clerk (Flash Runner)
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an energetic Bingo Sales Clerk to join our team! Reporting to the Director of Bingo Operations, the Bingo Sales Clerk is responsible for maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the game process, assist in monitoring bingo play, all the while actively selling various games (flash, strip, paper).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sells Session Bingo Paper and Electronics including Strip sales
- Promote the sales of special bingo paper on the bingo floor
- Redeem instant winning tickets as part of sales or cash redemption
- Assist with the sorting and entering of instant win tickets during game sessions
- Sells Session Bingo Flash Games and Strip Games at Flash Window
- Redeems instant win tickets
- Assist with flash and strip floor sales during the session
- Assist with the sorting and entering of instant win tickets during sessions
- Proactively sells multiple flash games (daub and ball)
- Redeems instant win tickets of $25.00 or less
- Manages and organizes both cash and redeemed instant win tickets in their care
- Proactively sells $3 and $5 strip games on the bingo floor
Additional Job Information
- The bingo Sales Clerk has direct interaction with a diverse group of audience and players.
- The clerk should have a basic knowledge of traditional bingo (paper bingo games and patterns, program and products and pricing), flash games (daub and ball) and strip games that are available for sale. Training is provided.
- The Bingo Sales Clerks also assist the bingo caller in verification and to help temporary pause the game during the verification and identification process.
What You Will Need
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- 2-3 years of general work experience
- Good communication and people skills
- Highly customer service oriented
- Detailed Oriented
- Works well under pressure
- Great team player
- Ability to multi-task and follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must be willing to work during weekends with varied shifts including nights and holidays
- On occasion, must be willing to work outside in variety of weather conditions
