Are you an experienced Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with passion for working with children and adolescents to help them succeed? Do you have an advanced repertoire of skills in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? If your answer is yes, let’s talk.

The Center for Autism Nurturing (CAN)is recruiting for a full-time BCaBA in Greenville, SC. Travel is required, as services will be delivered in-home.

The BCaBA maintains a caseload of clients with oversight from the supervising Board Certified Business Analyst (BCBA), supports the supervising BCBA in the oversight of the BCBA’s caseload and provides direct ABA therapy services to clients across settings (e.g., clinic, home, community, school, telehealth). BCaBAs are also responsible for maintaining accurate and timely documentation and meeting billable hours requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct descriptive and systematic assessments of behavior and skills to identify the service needs of clients with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), using tools and methods standard to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Interpret assessment results to design, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, making data-based decisions to modify protocols and treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal progress
  • Provide goal-directed training on behavior-change protocols and ongoing guidance and support to parents, guardians, and other designated caregivers
  • Provide training and ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Must Haves

  • At least 2 years BCaBA experience
  • Strong knowledge of ABA and related evidence-based practices
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets to identify trends and make purposeful decisions
  • Ability to provide, accept, and apply constructive feedback and to develop knowledge and skill sets accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with immediate team and cross-functionally with colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work or related discipline
  • Active Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification in good standing.
  • State-specific licensure, if applicable, at an assistant Behavior Analyst level, in good standing.
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing more than 10 pounds on a regular basis more than 50 pounds occasionally.
