Full job description
Bookkeeper
Location: Administrative Offices, Little Rock, AR
Type: Part-Time, 24 hours per week, Non-Exempt
Hours: Tuesday - Thursday -- 9:00am-5:00pm

Our Mission: Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas believes everyone deserves a decent, affordable place to live. We bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for general ledger accounting duties and reports directly to the Director of Finance and Administration.
No two days are ever the same! A typical day will include the following responsibilities:
· Handle all A/P duties. Enter bills, pay bills, maintain positive vendor relationships
· General ledger entries, i.e. daily deposits, credit card transactions, payroll
· Assist with bank reconciliations
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements
· Assist with general office administrative tasks
· Maintain files and paperwork
· Monitor daily emails, answer the phone, and follow up on vendor questions

· Excellent computer skills: proven experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
· Bookkeeping: 3+ years (Required)
· Sage Intacct or equivalent accounting system: 3+ years (Preferred)
· Experience in nonprofit or construction business: 3+ years (Preferred)
Compensation:
· $18 - $22 / hourly commensurate with experience
