Job Summary:

At Rogue Space Systems, we rely on our team's ingenuity and drive to address the evolving challenges of the space industry. As our Business Development Associate/Manager, this role will fuel growth by identifying and securing new opportunities in the commercial sector, collaborating closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing the entire sales process, achieving revenue objectives, and forging lasting partnerships that advance our mission to revolutionize space technology. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring Rogue’s success through targeted outreach, measurable impact, and a commitment to building the next generation of commercial and defense space solutions.

This is a hybrid role ideal for a self-starter ready to support entry-level sales operations and who thrives on both strategic market engagement and hands-on sales execution.

Technical Skills and Responsibilities:

· Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract closure.

· Conduct market segmentation, identify target accounts, and execute multi-channel outreach strategies for growth.

· Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across government, commercial, and dual-use sectors.

· Prepare and deliver custom sales presentations, technical capability briefs, and proposals tailored to client needs.

· Collaborate with technical, marketing, and product teams to align customer needs with Rogue solutions and ensure seamless client handovers.

· Demonstrate ability to understand and communicate space operations, systems engineering, and space technology concepts.

· Lead proposal development and contract negotiation processes, including RFP management and government compliance requirements.

· Analyze competitor activities / market trends and contribute actively to business development strategy.

· Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM data, and report performance against revenue targets and pipeline growth objectives using tools such as HubSpot or ZOHO.

· Support lead qualification, CRM hygiene, and process execution to maximize sales effectiveness.

· Provide actionable feedback to marketing and product teams based on client insights and industry trends.

· Represent Rogue Space Systems at conferences, trade shows, events, and client meetings, including supporting booth operations as needed.

· Provide regular updates to leadership on sales metrics, client insights, and market developments.

· Other duties as assigned by the manager to support business objectives.

· Must be legally eligible to receive Export Controlled documents (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).

· Ability to document technical insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.

· Possess a proven ability to lead complex negotiations with clients and partners, driving mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term business growth.

· Ability to properly estimate delivery times of project milestones; and then manage time to meet the stated deadlines.

· Ability to teach and promote best practices and knowledge in areas of your expertise to other disciplines internally.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (preferred), or a related field preferred.

· 3–6 years of combined experience in B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships (experience in aerospace or defense sectors a strong plus).

· Previous experience working with or selling into government agencies preferred.

· Previous experience in the space sector related to government, civil, or commercial sales preferred.

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

· Background checks will be required for all candidates being considered.

· Certain positions may require the ability to obtain Government Security Clearance.
