We are experiencing exciting growth and are looking for talented individuals who share our passion for helping others. At Heavenly Care, our people and our culture are at the heart of everything we do. We prioritize internal growth, encourage leadership development, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment where dedication is recognized and rewarded.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to lead our expansion efforts in the Austin, TX market. This is a key role for a self-motivated professional with a strong track record in healthcare sales, excellent industry relationships, and a deep understanding of the local market.

If you are passionate about senior care, thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, and have the connections to drive new business, we would love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Healthcare Experience Required: You must have professional experience in the healthcare industry. Prior work in senior care, home care, hospice, or related healthcare services is strongly preferred.
  • Established Industry Network: Local connections and relationships within the Austin healthcare community are essential. Your network will help you build trust and accelerate client acquisition.
  • Proven Sales Success: At least 2 years of successful experience in a business development or sales role within the healthcare space. A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is required.
  • Strategic & Results-Driven: You are not just selling—you’re identifying market needs, designing thoughtful outreach strategies, and cultivating long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent Communication: Clear, confident communication skills—both written and verbal—are vital. You’ll be engaging with healthcare professionals, referral partners, and decision-makers.
  • Collaborative Spirit: While this is a results-oriented role, you’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts in the Austin, TX market with a focus on new client acquisition and strategic partnerships.
  • Leverage your healthcare knowledge and professional network to generate leads, build lasting relationships, and close deals.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to reach decision-makers across healthcare facilities, providers, and referral networks.
  • Promote Heavenly Care’s full range of services—including home care and, when applicable, hospice care—with professionalism and expertise.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects, track sales activities, and meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs and service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, provide insights to leadership, and help shape regional growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience required, preferably in home care, hospice, senior living, or similar sectors.
  • Strong existing relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations in the Austin area.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed performance goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally.

Why Join Heavenly Care?

  • People-First Culture: Work with a company that invests in its team and values respect, compassion, and excellence.
  • Growth Opportunities: As we expand, we prioritize internal promotion and leadership development.
  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $75,000–$80,000 with uncapped commission potential.
  • Robust Benefits: Includes generous PTO, 9 paid holidays, paid volunteer time, health and life insurance, and travel reimbursement.
  • Balanced Lifestyle: Enjoy flexible work arrangements and a supportive environment that encourages well-being.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel throughout the Austin area.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally (for marketing materials or presentation tools).
