TITLE: Business Development Account Specialist

NAME: 

REPORTS TO: Vice President, Business Development

STATUS: Exempt

DATE: 

Summary:

This position will support PHCC’s Vice President of Business Development to develop and execute opportunities for partnership and sponsorships within the industry, analyze sales trends to identify new revenue prospects, and maintain the customer relationship database. This role will have no supervisory responsibilities and there will be approximately 5% travel involved.

Support PHCC business development efforts by facilitating and coordinating the deliverables for partnerships and sponsorships within the industry. Provide internal support to the VP by entering booth sales into cadium, data base entry, drafting reports, managing sponsorship deliverables internally and externally.

Essential Responsibilities

Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales avenues to target
  • Coordinate deliverables with other departments and sponsors
  • Generate correspondence, and a variety of other documents as needed (sponsor agreements, fulfillment reports, etc.)
  • Take minutes on business development committee meetings

CONNECT Sponsors and Tradeshow

  • Assists in developing exhibitor and sponsorship prospectuses and brochures, including audience demographics, pricing and specifications.
  • Coordinates documentation, invoicing and payments for sponsorship and exhibits.
  • Assist in the development of exhibitor rules/regulations, policies/guidelines, and program-specific official forms and documentation for multiple years in various cities across U.S.
  • Updating sales tracking documents regularly to be shared internally with other departments.
  • Collaborate on booth floorplan design, show floor assignments, and develop excellent exhibitor relationships.
  • Coordination with Communications and Marketing for all marketing campaigns and strategies for exhibitions.
  • Produce exhibit program reporting data to include percent sold, etc.
  • Creation and collection of post-event exhibitor and sponsor survey
  • Cultivate a climate of business trust and partnership with timely response to all emails, phone calls, etc.
  • Show Management support with onsite exhibitors and assisting front line registration team.

Customer Service/Administrative Responsibilities

  • Consistently demonstrate courteous, cooperative, and helpful behavior to all contacts, internal and external.
  • Updating and entering sponsorship contact information
  • Running sponsorship reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Previous experience with exhibitor and registration software programs; experience with Cadmium is preferred
  • Previous experience with an Association Management System, previous experience with NetForum is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheets
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a team are expected
  • Excellent written, with high attention to detail, and verbal communication skills required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
