About Us: At Twin Cities Outdoor Services, we are a forward-thinking organization committed to driving innovation and excellence in the Commercial Outdoor Services Industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and/or Partners, and contributing to the overall growth of our organization.
Position Overview: The Business Development Representative (BDR) will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for generating and qualifying various leads, initiating outreach to prospective Clients/Partners, and setting up meetings for the Team. You should have a strong passion for sales, exceptional communication skills, and a goal-oriented mindset.
Summary of Essential Duties
- Research and identify potential business opportunities within targeted markets
- Generate new leads(Partners and/or Prospective Clients) through outbound activities such as cold calling, emails, social media outreach, and networking
- Schedule and participate in team meetings with qualified prospects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective Partners to establish trust and rapport
- Assist, as needed, in the recruiting process with Seasonal workers
- Track and manage all lead activity using CRM tools
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets
- Collaborate closely with the BD Team
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and product offerings to communicate value to potential Clients/Partners effectively
- Provide ongoing feedback to the BD Team
- Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
- Strong oral and written communication, and time and project management skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Experience adapting to challenges, providing support, and guiding communication in a constantly changing environment
- Able to work professionally, both individually with little supervision and as part of a team
- Must always represent TCOS’ best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in a relevant role such as sales, marketing, or client services
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in a related field
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds
- Alternate between walking, standing, and sitting
- Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing dates and figures, viewing a computer screen, extensive reading
Compensation:
- $52,000-65,000 annually
- Semi-monthly pay
