Company Overview

The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities is dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities throughout their lives. Our agency provides a range of programs, including a small school program and vocational training for adults, ensuring that every individual receives the support they need to thrive.

Summary

We are seeking a Business Manager to join our team at the Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In this role, you are responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the department of financial services, serving as a member of the Superintendent's Leadership team and is expected to provide a positive impression to staff and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the business of the Wyandot County DD Board.
  • Direction and leadership of the agency's Business Department.
  • Maintain accurate Payroll and Benefits records for agency employees.
  • Coordinate the agency's Human Resource functions: scheduling new employee orientation requirements as established by Ohio Department of DD (ODODD), the development and administration of policies in accordance with Federal, State and County rules and regulations in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, employee development, equal opportunity, compensation etc.
  • Handle board meeting minutes, preparation of board packets and any other board issues as delegated by the Superintendent.
  • Assists staff, county officials and general public in complying with all board policies, therein supporting the rights of all individuals served by the Wyandot County Board of DD.
  • Provides direct support to the Superintendent and Administrative Team members.
  • Serve as the agency's HIPAA Privacy Officer.
  • Coordinated Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Payroll.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge of Accounting and Finance Principles, Costing, Audit Preparation and Payroll, Board Policies, Waiver Systems and services offered by County Boards of DD.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Attention to detail is a must!
  • Experience in the presentation of reports
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team, manage personnel and handle conflict resolution matters effectively.
  • Ascertain the level of confidentiality necessary for any given situation.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
