Job Title: CAD Designer – Aggregate Processing Industry
Location: Shelbyville, Kentucky
Terms: Full Time
Salary/rate: Up to $37 Based on Experience

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing the initial concept design to the final plant design & layout using 2D & 3D CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Layout & design conveying equipment, crushing and screening plants, ensuring all systems & components will function optimally.
· Work with the Project Manager to develop precise plant layouts, structural framework and chute designs using CAD.
· Provide design and drafting support for multiple projects, assisting project managers in meeting deadlines & project goals.
· Collaborate with the project team to translate design concepts and plant configurations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Formal education/training in drafting using 2D and/or 3D CAD software.
o Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
o Additional industry-specific training or certification a plus.
· Thorough understanding of:
o Material handling systems
o Process flow design
o AutoCAD and Inventor CAD system (Vault).
o Hydraulic schematics and piping layouts.
· Proven experience working with aggregate processing equipment & bulk material handling systems is highly desirable.
Candidate Requirements
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Motivated self-starter.
· Attention to detail.
· Willing to travel to job sites (drive or fly) as needed with occasional overnight stays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
