CAD Draftsperson - Environmental Consulting

SES is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs related to environmental projects, such as site assessments, environmental remediation plans, and land use planning. The AutoCAD Draftsperson will work closely with our environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate drawing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Drafts and Drawings: Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings for environmental projects, including site layouts, environmental monitoring plans, remediation strategies, and land use planning.
• Collaborate with Consultants: Work closely with environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate and actionable designs.
• Review Site Data: Interpret field data, aerial imagery, and survey data to create site-specific plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Revise Drawings: Modify and update drawings based on feedback from team members, regulatory agencies, and clients to ensure compliance with all state and local government standards.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, ensuring that project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on drawings and designs to identify errors or discrepancies and ensure they meet project specifications and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD), or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience using AutoCAD for environmental or civil engineering projects.
• Experience with environmental site assessments, remediation projects, or land development projects is a plus.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD design software.
• Ability to interpret survey data, aerial imagery, and technical reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Familiarity with environmental consulting practices and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
