Why You’re Right for the Job:

You care about the Watts Community. You are familiar with the community and the city resources and services. You have a strong connection to the people - preference will be given to individuals that reside in Watts.

You are equal parts technical and relational. Solving problems with technology or with people does not intimidate you. You are able to learn quickly and teach yourself how to navigate situations. You also have patience to teach others and help others who aren’t as savvy.

You enjoy a hands-on role. You are comfortable changing a tire or installing new windshield wipers. You might sort of love cars, too.

A non-traditional schedule works for you. Weekend availability may be required and is essential to provide effective customer service. Early riser? Start earlier, end earlier, with some flexibility. This is a salaried position.

You thrive in highly autonomous environment. We have a small, hard-working team with big goals, so it’s a good thing your independent spirit and “let’s get stuff done” mindset will keep you motivated and fulfilled. You know how to keep people looped in without requiring daily oversight or formal check-ins to be successful.

You are a cool cucumber and a good listener. If a battery dies or a customer gets a flat tire, that doesn’t throw you off. When customers call in a panic, you are patient enough to hear them out and get them back on the road.

You are organized. Balancing electric vehicles, car share programs, and fleet oversight requires a lot of organization. Your organization skills and ability to meet regular deadlines and program requirements will be essential to being successful in this role.
