Carpentry & Remodeling Estimator / Jobsite Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimating & Jobsite Manager to lead our team in the construction, carpentry, and remodeling industry. Celtic Carpentry Works LLC is seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in project estimation, jobsite management, residential interior remodeling, carpentry, drywall, and painting to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating and managing projects and must be a Minnesota resident, preferably residing near the Mound area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for client projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize estimation software effectively.
• Collaborate directly with prospective clients and team to assess project requirements and develop effective strategies for bidding.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all clients and team members.
• Conduct thorough reviews of contracts and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for the company and client.
• Mentor, help train and lead job sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality within the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in construction and team management.
• Minnesota residency is required; preference given to candidates near Mound, MN.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency with a strong background in project estimation, jobsite management, residential interior remodeling, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Strong understanding of construction site operations and project management principles.
• Proficiency in using estimating software or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail in cost analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• A degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Pay: $78,788.00 - $86,195.00 per year
