in the public accounting profession *Qualifications:* * 5+ years in accounting work, public accounting experience a plus * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA (preferred) * Experience with Excel / Google Sheets * Experience with QuickBooks Online * Ability to work in a remote environment with modern technology *Responsibilities:* * Managers lead a team of Associates and fulfill both accounting and project manager roles. * They possess a working knowledge spanning from transactional bookkeeping to advanced accounting. * Managers exhibit nimbleness, capable of delving into details or reviewing at a high level as needed. * CAS Managers are accountable for ensuring the completion of the monthly close on schedule. * They review the books for the month and compile the client’s financial package. * CAS Managers monitor their team's workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. * They are adept at communicating with clients and seek ways to enhance the value of the engagement. *About Us:* Walker Glantz is a firm built on values.
