JumpHire Success Coach

JumpHire is looking for a motivated Success Coach to join our training program. As a Success Coach, you will be responsible for supporting trainees throughout their progression within JumpHire. You will connect trainees to community resources and help them develop a plan to minimize obstacles in their lives. The Success Coach will have regular check-ins with trainees to make sure they are progressing properly during their journey within JumpHire.
Duties: Provide support and encouragement for JumpHire members throughout their training; monitor and report members’ progression; develop customized plans to help members minimize barriers to success; work with JumpHire admin to enhance members' experience; provide and prevent churn of members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advocate for needed services and entitlements; obtain additional resources; intervene in crises; provide personal support
- Assess each member’s unique needs
- Develop action plans to help minimize obstacles to success
- Conduct orientation for new members by reviewing assessments and applications
- Evaluate members’ strengths and weaknesses through check-in meetings
- Establish resource programs by setting schedules and routines
- Coordinate and arrange financial aid with the admin team
- Monitor participant progress by verifying members’ attendance; observing and evaluating training progression
- Maintain members’ records by reviewing case notes, logging events, and monitoring progress.
- Communicate to Executive Director on members’ progress by conducting weekly meetings and evaluations
- Relay pertinent member evaluation results to the admin team
- Prepare members for graduation through scheduling mock interviews and exit interviews
- Offer suggestions to improve existing program design by evaluating current workflow and changing participant needs
- Share suggestions to admin team and assist in implementing changes such as rewriting policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing training progression
Position Profile

- Ability to operate with a high level of integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills and skilled at resolving conflict and deescalating situations
- Ability to use good judgment for decision making
- Problem-solver and “can-do” attitude
Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of social work experience or experience in a similar occupation
- Professional or personal experience supporting individuals from disadvantaged communities
- Ability to communicate effectively with young adults
Background Check:
