CDL Class A Driver

Wholesale Building Products is seeking a safe and courteous CDL Class A Driver. This position will require drivers to deliver lumber and other building materials locally throughout Jacksonville. CDL Driver Hours and Benefits:

• FT Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Saturdays as needed and/or requested

CDL Driver Job Responsibilities:

• Drive either a steel hauler or tractor-trailer
• Deliver lumber and other building materials
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively with dispatch
• Perform both a pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the truck
• Pick up goods and materials and verify loads as instructed
• Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy

CDL Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Clean driving record
• Able to pass random drug and alcohol tests
• Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and driving practices
• Good listening skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Dependable, flexible, and excellent time management skills

CDL Driver Job Requirements:

• Ability to drive manual trucks (no restrictions)
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• CDL Class A certified by an accredited school
• Experience driving lumber and rebar (preferred)
