Direct Care Assistant Manager - Central
Job Description

Role Description:
The Area Direct Care Assistant Manager will be responsible for multiple objectives for ASI, which include, but are not limited to:
- Waiver Services – The Assistant Manager will work with the Area Direct Care Manager to ensure Direct Care Providers (DCPs) in the area are equipped with the proper resources and training to ensure a continuum of quality services for all participants. The Assistant Manager will also coordinate services for new and existing families, communicate with case managers, attend family team meetings, follow up with reports, and oversee staff and participant hours. (70%)
- Administration/Supervision – The Assistant Manager will work to ensure all DCPs remain in compliance and that DCP and participant records are kept up to date. The Assistant Manager will also work with the Area Direct Care Manager in the region to develop a plan for both family and DCP support and outreach, including sharing pertinent information about participant care, safety, and goals. (15%)
- Outreach – The Assistant Manager will engage in proactive outreach to individuals on the Medicaid waiver and to potential DCPs to recruit them for ASI’s Direct Care program. The Assistant Manager may also serve on boards or committees, attend events, and network as needed with the aim of advancing ASI objectives and fostering strategic relationships with other organizations and entities. (15%)
This position is a remote position with some travel required (Indiana only). Preference for applicant living in or near Marion or Hendricks counties in Indiana.
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent Required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Competence in Microsoft Office
- Oral and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and keep accurate records
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work with families of individuals with Autism from culturally and/or socio-economic diverse backgrounds
- Organization and time management skills
- Located in or near Marion or Hendricks counties in Indiana
