Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CCMA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong patient service skills, be observant and identify if teammates need assistance, and a passion for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our providers and ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience during their visits.

Duties

• Perform routine clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, preparing patients for examinations, and maintaining accurate patient records by reviewing/ updating patients history: medications, surgical, family, social etc.
• Assist clinical team with reporting codes to reflect preventive care measures & quality measures are documented and up-to-date for patients.
• Medication prior authorizations
• Requesting records, processing faxed documents to appropriate personnel.
• Assists with refill request, portal messages and phone calls.
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient operations within the practice.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and concerns with compassion and professionalism.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
