Certified Massage Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and entrepreneurial Certified Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with the ability to provide exceptional patient care. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building your business. This role involves assessing patient needs, delivering various massage techniques, and contributing to a healing environment that promotes wellness and relaxation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Stay informed about the latest techniques in pain management and therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with other health professionals in a med spa or occupational health setting as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience, Certification and Licensing as a Massage Therapist is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with pain management techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and focus for building your business.
• Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
• Experience in customer service is highly valued, ensuring that each client feels welcomed and cared for during their visit.
• Previous work in a MedSpa or occupational health environment is a plus but not required.
