Wells World Services is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team in Tracy, California. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Disadvantaged Small Business, we are dedicated to providing top-quality medical services to our clients, including the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution San Joaquin, California (DDJC).
In this role, you will assist the Clinician with various tasks, including scheduling exams, rooming patients, conducting routine tests and procedures, performing phlebotomy, providing minor first aid, administering immunizations, maintaining medical records, participating in health and wellness programs, fitting Government personnel with earplugs and instructing on their use, inputting work-related injury/illness information into the database, maintaining statistical and medical surveillance databases, and performing clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and be able to work collaboratively with the clinical team.

Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in conducting routine medical tests and procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ideally possess the Audiometry Certification from the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC)
- Ideally possess the Spirometry Certification from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an occupational health setting
- Phlebotomy certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
