Job Summary
We believe great support isn't just about solving problems - it's making people feel heard. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves doing that. Our Charlotte team is growing, and we need a Customer Support Specialist who brings patience, positivity and a real desire to help in every interaction. Experience at the big box home improvement stores, specifically in kitchen and bath or contractor services would be a great stepping stone to this position with no nights and weekends required!
What you'll do:
- Be the friendly first point of contact for our customers via phone, email, and chat
- Listen carefully, troubleshoot quickly, and follow through on every issue
- Collaborate with a close-knit team that has each other's backs
- Help us improve the customer experience by sharing feedback and ideas
- Assist clients with product information, service details, and troubleshooting issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer requests or promote additional services, supporting sales growth
- Accurately enter and update customer data in our systems using Microsoft Office tools and other computer applications
- Handle cash transactions when necessary with precision and integrity, maintaining accurate records of all transactions
- Analyze customer feedback and call data to identify trends and suggest improvements for better service delivery
Qualifications
- Fluency in English; bilingual abilities would be a plus
- Prior experience in customer support, home improvement center or building materials is advantageous
- A strong, warm communication style - even on the tough days
- Someone who takes pride in doing right by the customer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general computer literacy
- Experience with data entry, analysis skills, and handling cash accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Previous outbound calling experience or client services background is a plus
