Beautiful Rind is seeking applications for cheesemongers!

As we continue to grow and get ready for fall, Beautiful Rind has open positions (full-time or part-time) for cheesemongers at Chicago's best destination for all things cheese. Apply to join some of the best cheesemongers in the country. While experience in cheese is highly preferred, we also have openings for experienced restaurant workers looking to shift to a retail experience or learn more about cheese.

Cheesemongers will assist customers in a retail/restaurant environment, create beautiful cheese boards, and educate the public on our products. To be the best in the business, cheesemongers will receive training about cheese types, production, care, and pairings; as well as the opportunity to pursue industry certifications and visit with producers. Cheesemongers will also sell, serve, and learn about a variety of beverages, including wine, beer, and cocktails. Light kitchen duties such as preparation of our accompaniments and dishes are also occasionally performed by our cheesemongers. Applicants should be able to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

All employees will receive paid sick leave, paid vacation, and a generous employer discount. Full time employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance after 2 months of employment.
