Family Care Health Center’s is on the hunt for top talent! Our organization is looking for a Chief Operations Officer who has the ability to provide leadership and direction for the effective and efficient operation and growth of the organization.

As the Chief Operations Officer, you will collaborate with administrative and operating departments to ensure the operational and strategic success of FCHC. Additional responsibilities include (NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Collaborating across departments to resolve issues related to services, facilities, equipment, and supplies for the organization.
  • Provide leadership direction to the Health Operations Department staff at all locations, in addition to, providing oversight of day-today management of the organization’s clinical, facilities, and risk management operations.
  • Responsible for establishing and/or assist in establishing policies and operation procedures in accordance with funding source requirements, as well as State and Federal law.
  • Presents, facilitates, and leads assigned process from improvement events using methods of culture-appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and project management.
  • Assist in overseeing the following departments: Community Health, Operations, Nursing, Nutrition Services.
  • Works, in conjunction with administration, on capital projects and new service development.
  • Responsible, with CFO, for the development and management of the Health Operations Department budget.
  • Assures compliance with annual staff performance evaluations and job description reviews for the Health Operations Department. Also assumes responsibility for the professional training and development of the Health Operations staff.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of health administration experience ~ REQUIRED.
  • RN State License in the State of Missouri and in good standing~ REQUIRED (if applicable).
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or five (5) or more years experience in public health or primary health care setting, including experience in supervision, management and/or administration ~ PREFFERED.
  • Knowledge of managed care operations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $52.45 - $78.67 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
