Children's Movement Instructor

Power Tots is a fast growing, empowering children's movement company leading fun and safe gymnastics, dance, and yoga programs for children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years old. We run our programs at daycare centers, preschools, and after-school programs. Our company has been in business for over 30 years and we teach in over 65 different daycare centers and schools in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. We're currently in need of active, high-energy individuals to join our fast-moving company to become instructors of our programs. Our instructors MUST HAVE DRIVER'S LICENSES AND THEIR OWN CARS to get from one daycare center or school to the next. Ability and willingness to travel around the DMV area is a must.

• We are currently looking for dedicated employees to join our team with full time availability Mondays-Fridays DAYTIME (this means at least 4 mornings available and 2-3 afternoons available to work). We may have possible weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday mornings) with the timing of our weekend sessions ranging from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and possible extra birthday party instruction, when available/needed. Weekend availability is not mandatory but is a plus. Please note: this position is not seasonal, as we're looking to grow and invest time and training into individuals who will be with us for an extended time.
• Please note that Indeed only allows an hourly rate to be posted and our instructors are paid per class. Our classes are typically 30 minutes and our starting rate per class starts at $17 while training. We provide hands-on training to all instructors for 6-8 weeks (varying based on factors including previous experience, availability to train, etc.) before transitioning into a W2 employee with a rate starting at $19 per class.

Great candidates for our instructors are college students with flexible schedules, people looking to get out of a 9-5 office job, or anyone who loves to move! We are looking for individuals that love being around children, are self-motivated, reliable, and also have the ability to travel to different locations in the DC Metro area. We will take you through a carefully crafted training program that will teach you all that you need to know. What we are seeking from our job candidates on day one is a deep desire to have a positive impact on the trajectory of a child's life. We want to hire individuals that find gratitude in the power of a positive attitude, helping to set the stage for a lifetime of healthy habits for the children enrolled in our programs.

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
