Full job description
Time Required: 10-15 hours / week
- Band Rehearsal = 2 hours
- Wednesdays at KOG Support = 2 hours
- Sunday Worship = 5 hours
- Other Responsibilities (i.e. scheduling, equipment maintenance, set-up, prep) = 1-3 hours
- Must be available for Christmas Eve, Easter and other major services throughout the year
RESPONSIBILITIES
Worship Services
- Prepare Audio and Video areas for worship by ensuring all equipment is fully operational
- Ensure worship team has fully operational and appropriate microphones for each service and perform proper sound check
- Monitor and adjust sound levels during live worship service as needed
- Ensure proper projection for each service including checking each projection prior to service
- Have familiarity with the building of projections and assist as needed
- Power down all equipment at the conclusion of each event
- Ensure all equipment is re-set for the following week’s schedule/calendar of events
- Note any broken/faulty equipment and take it out of service if possible
- Clear stage of equipment as needed
Rehearsal Support
- Attend weekly band rehearsals and other music rehearsals as needed
- Ensure sound system is operational for rehearsal
- Ensure equipment is in place for musicians
- Create the proper mix for band and instrumentalists
- When possible, follow projection slides with band as rehearsed
- Ensure equipment is properly stored after rehearsals
Wednesday Ministry Support
- Prepare Audio and Video areas for Bible Studies by ensuring all equipment is fully operational
- Assist Bible study leaders in connecting to AV equipment
- Monitor and adjust sound levels during Adult Bible Study as needed
Volunteers
- Build a team of people who can carry out the audio and projection duties
- Create a schedule for volunteers to carry out these functions ensuring that all AV positions are covered weekly
- Provide all necessary training, both initial and ongoing, to carry out these functions
- Supervise all volunteers carrying out audio and projection
Other Duties
- Occasionally provide support for King of Glory internal and external events as able (separate compensation may be provided)
